Warsaw Montessori High School

The students from Pre-IB1 and Pre-IB2 recently visited DPS Wiktorska – a care home for seniors – in order to spend some quality time with them. There were several great games like charades and cards, dominoes and other board games. It was really rewarding for us and the seniors appreciated the atmosphere and experience too. They were fascinated and surprised by us – our beauty, kindness and energy. So from now on they will never complain again about the “youth of today”! One of the most fulfilling moments of assisting seniors is the opportunity to learn from their life experiences. Many seniors have a wealth of stories and wisdom, offering a unique perspective on life. It was an educational way to spend time and keep the elderly mentally and physically active, ensuring that they feel valued and connected to the community around them!
