The Warsaw Model United Nations
The 22th to 25th of October, the Warsaw Model United Nations (WawMUN) conference was held. It is a simulation of the UN session, organized by the Stefan Batory High School. The meeting was attended by over 300 high school students including students from several countries. Young people played the role of diplomats and worked and debated in committees, representing the state assigned to them, on selected problems of the modern world. The main theme of WawMUN 2021 is ‘United Nations in a multipolar world’.
A delegation from Warsaw Montessori High School took part in the deliberations, because for the youth these deliberations are an opportunity to expand their knowledge of international relations, as well as develop the skills of negotiating, presenting substantive arguments, reaching compromises, and using the English language freely.
Marysia Gąsiorowska (Saudi Arabia Delegate) was awarded as an outstanding speaker.
Helena Lehmann who was Chinese delegate and Lilla Rosie Chatfield representant of Russia had public speeches against the resolutions in General Assembly.
Congratulations!
